I am a photographer and filmmaker from Yorkshire with a passion for the mountains, wild terrain and remote environments.
I first got the bug of photography around 2009 when I photographed the tadpoles in the pond in my family's back garden. I then started taking a camera with me wherever I went.

I studied A Level photography and went on to a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Leeds Arts University (formerly Leeds College of Art), specialising in photography, gaining a Distinction. During that year I was interviewed on The Book-It List on MADE in Leeds TV and BBC Radio Leeds for my Final Major Project - all about life with ginger hair.

Cairngorm Mountain, March 2017.

After a year on Falmouth University's Marine and Natural History Photography degree, I quickly found my interest was in film making, confirming this during expeditions to the Cairngorms, and Sri Lanka in 2017, where my main agenda was creating film content. I graduated in July 2018 and moved back to Yorkshire shortly after. Since then I have moved to North Lincolnshire, previously worked as a Programme Leader on Creative Media Production at Grimsby Institute in Grimsby (2020-2023) and I now work as the Digital Content Officer for The Wildlife Trust BCN creating photography and video content for them as well as assisting in running their social media channels.

I have also been a videographer and editor of weddings for James Thundercliffe Photography.

I have just recently worked on a freelance basis with Hammon House Productions by running a 3 day workshop teaching Horizon Youth Group how to create video content using their mobile phones.

Using multimedia to create a narrative is my main goal. Being outdoors in all weathers, at all hours of the day is my favourite pastime and I am not afraid to get stuck in.
